The SONAR season ends with a program of American music at it’s best. This action-packed concert is filled to the brim with non-stop energy and excitement featuring some of the country's most celebrated composers.Veterans John Adams, Steve Reich and Alex Mincek square off with the up-and-comers Andy Akiho, Ken Thompson and Anna Clyne, each with their own distinctive voice. New multimedia works like Ken Thompson's Storm Drain and Anna Clyne's 1987 mix with celebrated masterpieces: Different Trains by Steve Reich and John Adams' tour-de-force for solo piano, American Berserk from which this exciting program takes its title.
